The Joint & Spine Care Center at Southern Hills

For 26 years, Southern Hills Medical Center has been a leader in providing a full range of state of the art healthcare, including orthopaedics.  We were among the first to offer a Joint and Spine Care Center, providing patients with individualized care and full rehabilitation programs.  And at Southern Hills, you get a choice of more than 20 board-certified orthopaedic doctors who are experts in everything from minimally invasive joint procedures to sports medicine and spinal surgery.  These are the same doctors who were one of the first to use computer-guided precision when performing knee replacements, to ensure the knees last longer than ever before. 

Team Approach to Care

The Joint and Spine Centers’ programs focus on every stage, from helping the patient understand the procedure, to providing ongoing support throughout recovery.  Through a team structure, the physicians, nurses, and physical and occupational therapists share treatment and recovery information with each other and with their patients every step of the way.

Designed with your comfort in mind

Southern Hills has dedicated eight hospital rooms to the Joint and Spine Center.  These rooms measure twice the size of a typical patient room, and are custom-designed to meet the needs of patients recovering from joint and spine related surgeries.  Additionally, Joint Care Center rooms are equipped with sleeper chairs and recliners, while Spine Center rooms provide a guest bed for the family member’s comfort.  Southern Hills has also furnished special orthopaedic chairs designed specifically for the proper alignment and comfort of total hip replacements
